EXTRAORDINARY APPEAL
SUPPORTING THE RIGHT TO STUDY FOR ALL

Meritocratic University Residence Halls are places of study and community life that give many talented girls and boys, often with scarce financial resources, the possibility of obtaining a university degree and at the same time enrich their cultural training with an interdisciplinary offer alongside the university courses.

In the difficult economic conditions that the country is experiencing today, we feel the need to promote an initiative that concretely supports the right to education, to allow the passion and talent of all young people not to be frustrated.

The Collegio Borromeo, founded in Pavia in 1561, feels the need for public and private institutions to partner up and prevent this crisis from making the choice to study unsustainable and ending up impoverishing the entire society.

Collegio Borromeo launches an appeal to all university institutions to start a national scholarships campaign, managed by CRUI and CCUM, in order to give all girls and boys who choose to study the opportunity to concretely support their university career.

It is increasingly harder to resist alone.

Let’s do it together.

It is a civil and ethical duty:

THE FUTURE IS ALSO BECAUSE OF US!
